Why We Are in Action?

Key Strategies employed by TLF include:

  • Galvanizing the support of religious leaders and faith communities which have the     allegiance of millions of believers and are able to bridge the divides of race and   religion.
  • Sports as instrument for peace building among the youth
  • Mobilization of chiefs, youth groups, women groups, relevant democratic     institutions  and individual Ghanaians to participate in our peace campaigns
  • Needs assessment to identify and prioritize WASH and other needs of target     communities for tailored intervention
  • Empowerment for citizens for policy engagements with duty bearers and advocacy     actions
  • Mobilization of resources from donors and philanthropies to undertake interventions

TLF targets its interventions at the populations most affected by poverty due to their marginalization, vulnerability and lack of voice. They include:

  • Children of poor parents
  • Women
  • Marginalized and Vulnerable Groups, such as Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)
  • In & Out-of-School Children & Youth
